How long will God protect the remnant of Israel during the Tribulation?
God will protect the remnant of Israel for three and a half years during the Tribulation. At the midpoint they go into a protected area in the mountains southeast of Jerusalem, and God will take care of them there, just as He cared for Israel during the forty years in the wilderness.
The teaching explains that at the midpoint of the Tribulation, a whole remnant of Israel went down into the mountains southeast of Jerusalem, as Jesus Himself speaks of in Matthew 24. For the most part, that remnant will remain in this protected area, and God will take care of them even as He did the nation of Israel during the forty years in the wilderness—for three and a half years. Then at His second coming, the nation as a whole finally becomes believers and becomes the seed stock of the nation of Israel entering the Kingdom.
