How long will God protect the Escaping Remnant?
God will protect the Escaping Remnant for the entire three and a half years. This remnant of Jews from every category of life will flee Jerusalem to the mountains, and their God will watch over and protect them throughout that whole period.
Les explains that the Escaping Remnant is not the whole nation but a remnant of Jews from every category of life. They will flee from the area of Jerusalem down to the mountains to the southwest, possibly to Petra, though he does not know for certain. He teaches that their God will watch over them and protect them for the whole three and a half years. This protection takes place during the tribulation, when both Satan's wrath and God's wrath are poured out on the human race, making it a time of great difficulty.
