How does God protect the remnant during the tribulation?
God directs the escaping remnant of Israel to flee from Judea to the mountains southeast of Jerusalem. There He supernaturally protects and insulates them for the final three and a half years, just as He preserved Israel in the Sinai desert for forty years.
Les teaches that this is the escaping remnant of Israel, not the whole nation but a percentage. They flee to the mountains southeast of Jerusalem, where God protects them for the last three and a half years. He will insulate them from all the horrible events of that final period, even as Israel was in the desert of Sinai for forty years. Although they go out in unbelief so far as Christ as Messiah and King is concerned, God in His mercy and covenant promises keeps this remnant insulated until Christ returns in glory and power, and then they will see Him coming in the clouds of glory.
