Where is the remnant of Israel during the tribulation and how long are they protected?
During the tribulation, the remnant of Israel is in the mountains, having gone out as described in Matthew 24. God protects them there for 3.5 years amid the horrors of tribulation, keeping them as He kept Israel in the wilderness under Moses.
Les explains that the remnant of Israel is the group that went out into the mountains in Matthew 24. He says God has protected them there for 3.5 years of the horrors of tribulation, keeping them just like He kept Israel in the wilderness under Moses. When they see Him coming in the clouds of glory, in power, crushing the Gentile world that has taken over the Middle East, they will recognize who He is. The remnant will then be saved in a moment and grafted back in, as their unbelief is removed.
