How is the body of Christ like Eve in the Adam-and-Eve relationship?

The body of Christ is like Eve because Eve was the complement that completed Adam in that relationship; likewise the body of Christ is Christ's complement, which He is waiting for and looking for, and when it is filled with the last one brought in, He will take it to Himself.

Les explains that God said it was not good for man to be alone, so He made a help mate, a complement. Eve was the complement that completed Adam in that relationship, and the same connotation applies to the body of Christ: it is that complement of which Christ is still waiting for and looking for. When it is suddenly filled and the last one is brought in, He is going to take it to Himself. Les also points to Revelation 19:7-8, the marriage of the Lamb, where the wife has made herself ready. He thinks the word should really be bride, and she is arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, which is the righteousness, or positional aspect, of the saints. Then Revelation 19:11-16 describes Christ coming the second time to the Mount of Olives as King of kings and Lord of lords.
