What part of a believer will be ushered into God's presence and then receive the new body?

The spirit—the new divine nature imparted through eternal life—is the part of the believer that will one day be ushered into God's presence. After that, the believer will pick up the new body, becoming active in God's overall plan, especially in the coming kingdom.

Les explains that because Christ died our death and imparted eternal life in the area of the spirit and a new divine nature, that spiritual part is what will one day be ushered into His presence. Then the believer will pick up the new body discussed previously. As such, the believer becomes active in the overall plan of God now, but more in the kingdom that is yet to come. Les also connects this to Romans chapter 6, verse 5, where being planted in the likeness of Christ's death means being identified also in the likeness of His resurrection; the seed dies, and new growth comes forth.
