Why won't believers be cramped together in the new earth?
The new earth will be so huge that believers’ eternal bodies will not be massed together, and they will have ample room. The New Jerusalem is described as 1,500 miles long, wide, and high, requiring a tremendous planet to hold it in orbit, so there will be no cramped quarters in glory.
Les teaches that some day a believer may have a planet all their own to rule and reign over, but it will be fabulous. He explains that the new earth is going to be so huge that there will not be any massing together of our eternal stated bodies. We are going to have ample room. The reason is that if the New City, the New Jerusalem, is going to be 1,500 miles long, 1,500 miles wide, and 1,500 miles high, it will take a tremendous planet to hold it and keep it in orbit. So, Les says, don’t ever think for a minute that we’re going to be a little bit cramped for room when we get to glory.
