Les Feldick Bible Study

Will heaven or the new Earth be crowded when all Christians are gathered together?

While heaven might seem crowded, the new Earth will not be. It is described as so huge that even a 1,500-mile city will not exceed its curvature. All Christians from history, including infants who died before accountability, will be gathered there as adults, yet the vast new Earth will remain spacious and bountiful.

Les explains that a 1,500-mile city could never rest properly on this present small planet because of the Earth’s curvature; much of it would sit out like bird’s wings. He believes the new Earth will be so huge that even a 1,500-mile city will fit within its curvature, and it will be beyond human imagination. He notes that most Bible believers expect infants and young children under the age of accountability to be in glory, and that historically millions lived and died in infancy; they will be there as adults. Therefore, although people ask if Heaven will be crowded after all the Christians of the last several thousand years are brought together, Les says maybe Heaven would be, but the new Earth will not be. The 1,500-mile city is like our apartments, and the new Earth will be so huge and beautiful that nobody will be crowded, with food production as well.
