Les Feldick Bible Study

Why does Les read the Book of Mormon, Koran, Armstrong, and Jehovah's Witness materials?

He reads the Book of Mormon, the Koran, Armstrong, and Jehovah's Witness materials to study the opposition, much like a football coach studies films of the next opponent. He wants to know what they teach, what they will argue, and where they are coming from, especially regarding the earthly kingdom.

Les makes no apology for reading all of the opposition. He compares it to a college or pro football coach who, as soon as one game is over, starts looking at films of the next opponent and studies them so he knows what the next opponent will throw at him. That is what Les does: he has the Book of Mormon at home, reads and studies it; he has read good bits and pieces out of the Koran; he has read a lot of what Armstrong's have written and Jehovah's Witnesses material. He reads every bit he gets his hands on because he wants to know where they are coming from. This connects to people who are contrary to and in opposition to the concept of an earthly kingdom and Christ's Second Coming ahead of it.
