What are the origins of the Antichrist and the false prophet?
The Antichrist and the false prophet are both men, born of women, who rise through the ranks in their respective areas. The Antichrist emerges in politics, while the false prophet emerges in world religion, later performing miracles and leading worship of the Antichrist.
Les teaches that the beast, the Antichrist, and the false prophet are both men, born of women, who come up through the ranks in their respective areas. The Antichrist rises in the area of politics, while the false prophet rises in the area of some world religion. The false prophet was the leader of the world's religions during the seven years and wrought miracles before the Antichrist. Les calls this an unholy trinity: Satan is synonymous with God the Father, the false prophet with the Holy Spirit, and the Antichrist with Christ. The false prophet causes people to worship the Antichrist, even as the Holy Spirit leads believers to worship Christ. Before the King can come in, He has to deal with these archenemies, and the beast and false prophet are taken.
