In what realms did the Antichrist and the false prophet rise to power?

Les explains that the beast, the Antichrist, and the false prophet are both men, born of women, who came up through the ranks in their respective areas. The Antichrist rose in the area of politics, while the false prophet rose in the area of some world religion. The false prophet was the leader of the world's religions during the seven years and wrought miracles before the Antichrist. Les calls this an unholy trinity: Satan is synonymous with God the Father, the false prophet with the Holy Spirit, and the Antichrist with Christ. The false prophet causes people to worship the Antichrist, even as the Holy Spirit leads us to worship Christ.
