What is the meaning of Revelation chapter 18?
Revelation chapter 18 provides a full view of how the entire world system as we know it will finally come to its end. It follows the battle of Armageddon and the destruction of the nations' armies, and then shows the ultimate conclusion of the world system.
Les explains that chapter 18 was skipped earlier to maintain chronological order of the final seven years. He reminds that the previous program covered the battle of Armageddon, where all armies gathered in Israel and Satan thought he could eliminate the Jewish problem, but God destroyed them with hundred-pound hailstones. The analogy of grapes in a wine vat and garments sprinkled with red was given. Now, as they come to chapter 18, it gives the full view of how the whole world system will finally come to its end.
