What event is described in Revelation 19:11-16?

Revelation 19:11-16 describes the second coming of Christ, when He returns to the Mount of Olives as King of kings and Lord of lords. This event follows the marriage of the Lamb, which is described earlier in Revelation 19.

Les explains that Revelation 19:11-16 is the coming of Christ for the second time, down to the Mount of Olives, as King of kings and Lord of lords. In the preceding verses, Revelation 19:7-8, the marriage of the Lamb has come and His wife, really the bride, has made herself ready, arrayed in fine linen, which is the righteousness of the saints. The body of Christ is the complement of Christ, and when it is suddenly filled and the last one is brought in, He will take it to Himself. Then Christ returns in this second coming.

Revelation 19:11

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
