What is the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God?
The winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God refers to the valleys of Israel, where the millions of troops gathered against Him will be packed together. He treads it by destroying them with one fell sweep, using the spoken Word.
Les explains that His winepress is the valleys of Israel, wherein all these millions of troops will be packed, and He is going to destroy them with one fell sweep. This follows His smiting the nations with the spoken Word. After He finishes His destruction, the curse is lifted and the kingdom comes in. He then rules the nations with a rod of iron—not a cruel rule, but an absolute, benevolent, just, and fair one. The Beatitudes are the constitution of His government and are always affiliated with the kingdom rule.
