What does the wine vat represent in the end-time grape-harvest vision?

In the end-time grape-harvest vision, the wine vat represents the massing of military forces into Israel's valleys—the Valley of Esdraelon, the Jordan Valley, and low-lying areas—where a sovereign God packs them in and then crushes them as grapes in the great winepress of His wrath.

Les teaches that the gathering of the grapes into the wine vat is the gathering of these military people into the Valley of Esdraelon, down the Jordan Valley, and into all the low-lying areas of Israel especially. They will be packed in like sardines in a can—contrary to good military operation—because a sovereign God forces them to pack their men into these valleys. That is the wine vat, like putting grapes in the vat. Then the very presence of God comes and crushes them as grapes in the vat. The angel thrusts in his sickle, gathers the vine, and casts it into the great wine press of the wrath of God.
