Is man the only animal that torments its own species?
Yes. No other species on earth misuses its own kind as mankind does. Wild animals are not seen tormenting each other; nothing in the wild kingdom torments its own—only man. When Adam became a sin creature, he became inhuman, making mankind uniquely bloodthirsty and cruel.
Les teaches that this is why God turns drinkable water into blood—the human race is bloodthirsty. He explains that when God created Adam, He created him a human being, but as soon as Adam became a sin creature, he became inhuman. Les points to the newspaper as evidence: mankind has become an inhuman being. He states that there is not another species on earth that misuses its own species as man does his. You do not see wild animals tormenting each other; nothing in the wild kingdom torments its own—only man. He illustrates this with Middle Eastern nations, noting that around Desert Storm the Iraqis were known as masters of torture, and the Jerusalem Post made evident that the Syrians were second-class masters at torture, adept at dreaming up things no one else can. Les concludes that man has an intrinsic ability to be bloodthirsty.
