Will the church go into the tribulation?
The church will not go into the tribulation. This is because the body of Christ is a revelation given only to the apostle Paul, never mentioned in the Old Testament or Christ's earthly ministry. That distinct Pauline mystery confirms the church is not present during the tribulation period.
Les explains that the church will not go into the tribulation, and he says he could give many references proving this beyond a shadow of doubt. He ties this to the fact that the body of Christ is a revelation given only to the apostle Paul—never found in the Old Testament or even alluded to in Christ's earthly ministry. This Pauline mystery is what distinguishes the church. He also notes that once a person is saved and placed into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit, they have eternal life and the hope of glory. The question arose from a letter from a gentleman in Indiana who asked about the rapture of the church.
