Why won't the Church go through the Tribulation?
The Church won't go through the Tribulation because it does not fit that scenario. The Tribulation is God dealing with Israel and comes from Old Testament prophecy. The Church's removal, the Rapture or outcalling of the Body of Christ, is revealed through Paul. In II Thessalonians 2, Paul shows the man of sin appears after the Church departs.
Les explains that before the Second Coming, the Church is taken out because it won't fit in the Tribulation scenario. He compares it to trying to put a square peg in a round hole. The Tribulation, he says, is God dealing with Israel and flows out of the Old Testament prophetic statements. The only time Paul even mentions it is in II Thessalonians chapter 2, where he makes it plain that after we have departed, then shall appear that man of sin, and the Tribulation, and all the rest of it. Otherwise, it has nothing to do with Paul's teachings. The Rapture, the outcalling of the Body of Christ, is strictly a Pauline revelation, while all the rest of Scripture speaks about the Second Coming. Paul alone was revealed the secrets concerning the Church.
