Who releases the four bound angels at the sixth trumpet and from where is the voice heard?
At the sixth trumpet, a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God tells the sixth angel who had the trumpet to release the four angels. Those angels are bound in the great river Euphrates; the sixth angel, commanded by that voice, releases them.
Les teaches that when the sixth angel sounded, a voice came from the four horns of the golden altar before God. That voice told the sixth angel who had the trumpet to loose, or release, the four angels bound in the great river Euphrates. The command therefore comes from the golden altar before God, and the sixth angel is instructed to release them. Les also asks why the Euphrates is named and connects it back to Genesis 10 and the Tower of Babel.
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
