What happens to the judgments after the midpoint?

After the midpoint, the trumpet judgments begin and intensify: they come closer together and keep getting worse and worse until the final seven judgments, called the bowl judgments, or vials in the King James. These trumpets signal that it is time for the next judgment to fall, and the judgments become worldwide rather than regional.

Les explains that once the midpoint has passed, the trumpet judgments have begun, and they will come closer together and keep getting worse and worse. They continue until the last seven judgments, which are called the bowl judgments, or “vials” in the King James; he prefers the word “bowl.” The trumpets are merely God’s way of indicating that it is now time for the next judgment to fall. These judgments are not isolated to the Middle East but will be worldwide, a worldwide phenomenon. He also notes that many of the plagues repeat what happened under Pharaoh in Egypt, but while those were regional, these will be all around the planet.
