How will the Antichrist take control in the end times?

Les explains that the Antichrist rises from a group of ten nations. Three of those nations quickly lose their identity, though their leaders remain, reducing the ten to seven. Out of the seven comes the Antichrist, who takes over complete control while the others fade from the scene; he is then the eighth. The ten horns represent ten kings, presidents, or prime ministers who have not yet received a kingdom and lack the political clout the Antichrist will have. They receive power for one hour, a short time, with the beast and his empire. They all agree with one mind and give their power and strength to the Antichrist. Les says this is what he has been working for and maneuvering toward. He comes with peace, prosperity, and flatteries, not civil war, and takes over by manipulation. He goes into perdition, and the Lord will destroy him at His coming.
