Why will the Lamb overcome the nations gathered against him?
The Lamb will overcome the nations gathered against Him because He is Lord of lords and King of kings. At Christ's second coming, the Antichrist and false prophet lead these nations to war, but the Lamb defeats them, accompanied by His called, chosen, and faithful followers.
Les teaches that at the end of the seven years, the nations under the headship of the Antichrist and the false prophet will make war with the Lamb. Yet the Lamb shall overcome them at Christ's second coming, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings. Those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful—believers who return with Him in victory.
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
