Who will head the coming one-world religious system?
The coming one-world religious system will be headed by the false prophet, a single world religious leader. This system is satanically inspired and operates under the guise of religion, supported by the Antichrist's government. The false prophet could possibly be an apostate Jew, though this is not certain.
Les teaches that as this great religious system comes on the scene, it will be satanic, not godly, a satanically inspired organization under the guise of religion. It will be headed up by this one world religious leader, identified as the false prophet, who Les said could very easily be an apostate Jew. He notes it is not unusual for Jews to embrace something other than Judaism. This system will be worldwide and have tremendous power over the everyday individual, and it is supported by the government of the Antichrist. Les also points out that historically, pagan idolatrous nations made life miserable for the true people of God, and most conflicts have been precipitated by religionists trying to force others out or under their thumb, as seen in places like Yugoslavia.
