Why did Jesus rebuke the church of Thyatira?

The church of Thyatira was rebuked because they permitted a woman named Jezebel, who called herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce His servants into immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols. Jesus held them accountable for tolerating her evil influence.

Les teaches that Jesus, speaking to the church of Thyatira, said He had a few things against them because they permitted that woman Jezebel, who called herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce His servants to commit fornication, or immorality, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Les explains that this is in a bad light, asking if anyone would want to be that woman. He then connects it to Matthew 13:33, the parable of the leaven, where leaven in Scriptural analogy is always evil—sin is leaven. A woman took leaven and hid it in three measures of meal until the whole lump was leavened. Les says this is used in a bad light: a woman was guilty of inserting evil into a situation, and God was displeased with it.

Revelation 2:20

Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
