What would happen in a cashless society if you don't have your social security number?

In a completely cashless society, a person without a social security number cannot receive a paycheck. The number becomes the required identifier for economic participation. Just as people already cannot get a driver's license or file taxes without it, a cashless system would make that number essential for receiving wages.

Les teaches that if society reaches a completely cashless state and a person has not got that number, they cannot receive a paycheck. He notes people are already limited without a social security number: it is required for a driver's license, for filing taxes, and even for a child to start kindergarten. He also points out that America is not the only nation with such a system—many smaller nations and countries like Germany and Great Britain have social security numbers. The world, he says, is getting ready for the fact that people cannot do anything without a number.
