How is the social security system a forerunner of the mark of the beast?
The social security system is not the mark of the beast but its forerunner. It conditions the masses to accept a central authority that controls them by a number. Nearly every nation has such a system, and people cannot drive, enroll children, file taxes, or pay taxes without a social security number. This prefigures the coming world leader’s numeric control.
Les explains that the social security system is not the mark of the beast, so people should not worry about their social security number. Instead, it is the forerunner, getting the masses ready to be subjected to a central power who will control them with a number. He notes that almost every nation on earth now has a social security system, which prepares everyone to understand they cannot make a move without that number. In America, without a social security number, you cannot drive your car, enroll your kids in school, file your taxes, or pay your taxes. That is a foreview of what is coming, when the world will all have a number. Believers will not have to worry because they will not be here. The coming man will do according to his will, exalt himself above every god, and be the tool of Satan.
