Is the social security system the mark of the beast?

No. The social security system is not the mark of the beast, and people need not worry about their social security number. Instead, it is a forerunner that conditions the masses to submit to a central power who will control them with a number; that future control is the mark of the beast.

Les teaches that the social security system is not the mark of the beast, so people should not worry about their social security number. He explains that it is instead a forerunner, getting the masses of people ready to be subjected to a central power who will control them with a number, and that control is the mark of the beast. Les notes that almost every nation on earth has a social security system, preparing everyone to understand they cannot make a move without that number. In America, a person can do nothing without a social security number: cannot drive a car, enroll kids in school, or file and pay taxes. That is a foreview of what is coming. Believers will not have to worry about it because they will not be here, but the world that is here will all have a number.

How is the social security system a forerunner of the mark of the beast?

The social security system is not the mark of the beast but its forerunner. It conditions the masses to accept a central authority that controls them by a number. Nearly every nation has such a system, and people cannot drive, enroll children, file taxes, or pay taxes without a social security number. This prefigures the coming world leader’s numeric control.
