Who will worship the image of the Antichrist?
The whole world will worship the image of the Antichrist. Those who dwell on the earth, deceived by the miracles done in the sight of the beast, are told to make an image, a likeness to the beast — the emperor of the revived Roman Empire — and the whole world worships that image.
Les explains that the one who had power to give life to the image of the beast also deceives them that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast, that is, the Antichrist, the emperor of the revived Roman Empire. He will say to them that dwell on the earth that they should make an image, a likeness to the beast, to the emperor of that Roman Empire — an image or an idol. Les says he is not sure whether it will be just one image or several, but the whole world is going to worship that image of the Antichrist.
