Les Feldick Bible Study

Why will the ascension of the two witnesses shake people up?

The ascension shakes people because the whole world will witness it live: two witnesses who had been put to death are suddenly made alive and ascend out of Jerusalem in full view of cameras. It occurs during tribulation days of the miraculous and supernatural, and God does not hide it.

Les explains that this event will be broadcast on every five-thirty news broadcast, so the whole world will see these two witnesses suddenly ascend. They hear a great voice from heaven saying, "Come up hither," and they ascend right in view of the cameras. This will shake people up because it is a time of the miraculous and the supernatural, and God is not going to hide it in the slightest. These two witnesses had been put to death, then are suddenly made alive and ascend right out of the midst of Jerusalem during tribulation days, days of the supernatural.

Revelation 11:12

And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
