Why will the Jewish people use this equipment as firewood?
Because the equipment is made of a wood derivative and burns like cardboard, the Jewish people will literally take it and use it as firewood. This confirms Scripture’s accuracy, as the general noted during the Six Day War response, making it a practical fuel source.
Les explains that the equipment was supposedly made of a wood derivative. If that is still the case, Scripture is again shown to be accurate: the Jewish people will literally take this equipment and use it as firewood. The reason is that, as the general said, it burns like cardboard. Les notes he does not know whether this is still true or whether it has become obsolete, and maybe the Russians quit using that material. But at the time of the Six Day War, that was the response: it burns like cardboard. He then notes that Israel will go about burying the dead.
