What has Turkey's relationship with Russia been like historically?
Turkey has never formally been in the Russian orbit, yet it has remained constantly close to Russia. After communism fell, following seventy years of Soviet rule over Russia, Turkey was one of the first sovereign states to make overtures toward restoring a good fellowship relationship with Russia.
According to the teaching, Turkey is identified as the house of Togarmah, and up until now it has never been in the Russian orbit per se, but it is so close, constantly. When communism fell after having ruled Russia for seventy years, Turkey was one of the first sovereign states to make overtures to get back into a good fellowship relationship with Russia. Because of this closeness, the teacher does not think it will take much for the nation of Turkey to all of a sudden come out of Western influence and line herself up with the Eastern nations. These groups are all going to amalgamate when it is time to come down into Israel, and the instruction given was simply to watch this group of nations in the news — we cannot put everything together specifically, but we have a pretty good idea.
Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
