Why will God still bring wrath after His grace has been rejected?

God will still bring wrath because, after nearly 2,000 years of pouring out grace and offering salvation by faith plus nothing, humanity has walked underfoot, spurned, and rejected that grace for so long. His grace cannot be taken for granted forever, so He will enter in with wrath and vexation.

Les explains that these are words of warning for those not yet ready, for those who have never expressed salvation by faith in the gospel. The Word of God clearly lays out that these things are coming on the earth, not merely because human nature expects them. After almost 2,000 years of God pouring out His grace upon humanity, offering salvation on the basis of faith plus nothing, that grace has been walked underfoot, spurned, and rejected for so long. Therefore God is still going to enter in with His wrath and vexation, because His grace cannot be taken for granted forever. Believers, however, are not appointed unto wrath but saved out of it.
