Will the Antichrist be an apostate Jew or an apostate Christian?
According to the teaching, the Antichrist will be an apostate Jew rather than an apostate from Christianity, whether Catholic or Protestant. It is also suggested he could be a reincarnated Judas Iscariot, a demonic individual with charismatic, deceptive, peace-promising traits.
Les explains that he hesitates to use the word reincarnation because it is coming in so fast in Oriental religions and has no other instance in Scripture. Still, he says it is possible that Judas Iscariot could come back reincarnated, stressing that Christ was not reincarnated but incarnate—reincarnation would mean someone lived and is alive again. He therefore suggests the Antichrist could be a reincarnated Judas Iscariot, and he thinks the Antichrist will be an apostate Jew rather than apostate from Christianity, Catholic or Protestant. Whatever the case, Les says he will be a demonic individual with pleasant surface attributes: charismatic, able to sway opinions, lie and get away with it, and promise peace and prosperity, which the world will accept.
