What will the Antichrist be like under the surface?
Under the surface, the Antichrist will be a demonic individual. On the surface he will appear pleasant, charismatic, able to sway opinions, lie successfully, and promise peace and prosperity, which the world eagerly seeks. The context also raises the possibility that he could be a reincarnated Judas Iscariot.
Les explains that although the Antichrist will have pleasant, on-the-surface attributes, underneath he is a demonic individual. He will be a charismatic type who can sway people’s opinions, lie and get away with it, and promise peace and prosperity. The world, voting its pocketbook, will fall for him hook, line, and sinker. Les also says it is possible the Antichrist could be a reincarnated Judas Iscariot, and he thinks he will be an apostate Jew rather than apostate from Christianity.
