Les Feldick Bible Study

What will heaven actually be like?

Heaven will be a place of intense activity, not an ethereal cloud where people float in invisible spirit form strumming invisible harps. Believers will be busy and active in a glorious, never-ending kingdom economy, with new heaven and new earth providing something far better than earthly pursuits.

Les explains that the thousand-year reign of Christ is limited in time, but that same kingdom economy continues right on into all eternity. The kingdom will never be destroyed or end; it may be interrupted, but it comes back on the scene for eternity. He says our eternal abode and estate will not be floating on some ethereal cloud in an invisible spirit form, strumming an invisible harp. Heaven instead will be a place of intense activity, where we are busy and active, glorious beyond our comprehension. God will have nothing to do with idleness. For those who love fishing, hunting, or pro football, there will be something even better. The kingdom ushered in at Christ’s return will be on a glorious earth where the curse has been lifted, with tremendous production and population explosion.
