Will Christ's kingdom ever be interrupted or destroyed?
Christ's kingdom shall never be destroyed and will never end. It may be interrupted again, but it will come right back on the scene and continue for eternity. The thousand-year reign is limited in time, yet the same kingdom economy goes into all eternity.
Les teaches that the thousand-year reign of Christ is limited in time, but the same kingdom economy will go right on into all eternity. He points out that the language used says this kingdom shall never be destroyed and will never end. Although it will be interrupted again, it will come right back on the scene for eternity. He also explains that our eternal abode will not be floating on an ethereal cloud in an invisible spirit form strumming an invisible harp; heaven will be a place of intense activity. We will be busy and active, with tremendous activity glorious beyond comprehension. The kingdom ushered in at Christ's return will be on a glorious earth where the curse has been lifted, with tremendous production and a tremendous population explosion. Thus the kingdom's ultimate future is unending, even though the millennial phase is limited in time.
