Will the eternal kingdom be interrupted?
Yes, the eternal kingdom will be interrupted for a little while when Satan is released. But then the new heaven and new earth come, and the kingdom continues on into eternity, never to be destroyed, as it shall not pass away.
Les teaches that God the Son comes before God the Father to return to earth and destroy the Gentile empires that have been in human history for 2,600 years, causing them to disappear from view. He then sets up His kingdom, a dominion that shall not pass away, for it is eternal. Les explains that yes, this kingdom will be interrupted again when Satan is released for a little while, but after that comes the new heaven and the new earth, and the kingdom continues on into eternity. His kingdom is that which shall not be destroyed, where He has His rule and reign.
