What is the revived Roman Empire according to Les?
The revived Roman Empire is the present European community, a Gentile military power associated with NATO and nuclear weapons. It corresponds to the iron and clay and ten toes, but as yet lacks the old relationship with Israel. The Antichrist will emerge from the old Roman Empire’s geographical area, likely Western Europe.
Les teaches that the revived Roman Empire is what he also calls the present European community, tied to military power through NATO and other organizations with nuclear weapons and technology. He says the iron and clay and ten toes of the European community do not yet have the kind of relationship with Israel that the earlier Gentile empires had, since those empires included Palestine and Jerusalem.
