What will happen to the living waters from Jerusalem when Christ returns?

At Christ’s return, living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half toward the former sea, the Mediterranean, and half toward the hinder sea, the Dead Sea. The flow will continue in summer and winter. The Dead Sea will no longer be saltwater but living water, supporting every species of fish the Mediterranean has.

Les explains that in the day accompanying Christ’s return to the Mount of Olives, to the land of Israel, and to Jerusalem, living waters will go out from Jerusalem. Half go to the former sea, the Mediterranean, and half toward the hinder sea, the Dead Sea, in summer and winter. Les ties this to Ezekiel: a river flows from the throne room in Jerusalem back to the Mediterranean and down to the Dead Sea, possibly out to the Persian Gulf. Ezekiel says the Dead Sea will have every species of fish the Mediterranean has now; it will no longer be saltwater but living water. Today nothing can live in the Dead Sea, but that day is coming.

Zechariah 14:8

And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
