Who is the Antichrist a counterfeit of?

Les explains that Satan possesses tremendous miracle-working power and will deploy it during the tribulation. The false religious leader, described as a false Holy Spirit, will cause those dwelling on the earth to worship the Antichrist, who is a counterfeit of the Son. This false prophet, a second powerful world leader, will collaborate with the Antichrist to amalgamate all the world's religions and centralize worship in one great image, much like Nebuchadnezzar did. He will even have power to give life to the image, a feat Les notes is not beyond present technology, citing Japanese work on a living cell computer. These two leaders are men, not animals, but bestial in their ruthless treatment of humanity.
