Whom does the false prophet make the world worship?

Les explains that the false prophet exercises all the power of the first beast before him. The first beast is the political leader, the Antichrist, and they work hand in glove. The false prophet, a powerful religious leader under the cloak of religion but inspired by Satan, causes the mass of humanity to worship the other great world leader, the political leader, the Antichrist. Les points out Revelation's counterfeit trinity: Satan counterfeits God the Father, the Antichrist counterfeits God the Son, and the false prophet—the religious leader—counterfeits the Holy Spirit. Just as the Holy Spirit draws people to God the Son, this counterfeit of the Holy Spirit causes people to worship the Antichrist, the counterfeit Son. The false prophet does much of what the Holy Spirit does legitimately: he performs great wonders, makes fire come down from heaven, and deceives those on earth by miracles.
