When will God finally remember Israel and restore them from captivity?
God will remember Israel and restore them from captivity after all the blessings and curses have come upon them, after they have been scattered among all the nations, and when they call these things to mind, return to the LORD their God, and obey His voice.
Les explains from Deuteronomy 30 that God told Israel beforehand that because of disobedience and unbelief they would be scattered from one end of the earth to the other. When they have finally gone through the whole gamut of blessings and curses, then God will remember them. At that point, when they call these things to mind, return to the LORD, and obey His voice, He will turn their captivity, have compassion on them, and they will return from all the nations where He scattered them. Les calls this the Palestinian covenant.
That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
