How has the curse of Israel becoming a byword been fulfilled in almost every nation?

The curse has been fulfilled because disobedient Israel became an astonishment, proverb, byword, and slur word among the nations. In almost every nation, people apply a derogatory word to Jews that they would not use for anyone else. This stems from their rejecting Jehovah God's love and mercy.

Les teaches that this curse is spelled out in verse 37: if Israel is disobedient, they become an astonishment, a proverb, a byword, and a slur word. He explains that this is exactly what the Jew experiences in almost every nation on earth, where people use a word on them that they would not dream of using on anybody else. Les also notes that every one of these things has happened to the Jew. He recalls a rabbi who said the Jews' adversarial attacks, including the Holocaust, were because of their sin; although angry Israelites denied it, Les insists it has everything to do with it. Satan attacks God's chosen people, but they are still responsible for their actions, and the curse comes because they rejected the love and mercy of their Jehovah God.

Deuteronomy 28:37

And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.
