What are the three words used for Balaam's teaching in Peter, Jude, and Revelation?

Three terms describe Balaam's teaching: Peter calls it the way, Jude calls it the error, and Jesus in Revelation calls it the doctrine, the teaching of Balaam. These are the three terms. This teaching promoted fornication and breaking Israel's separated state.

Les explains that the three words for Balaam's teaching are the way (Peter), the error (Jude), and the doctrine (Revelation). In Revelation 2:14, Jesus speaks against Pergamos because some held the doctrine of Balaam. Les asks what Balaam taught: that they could commit fornication, lose their separated state, and it wouldn't hurt them. He then turns to Numbers 25, where Israel committed whoredom with the daughters of Moab, breaking down their separated state. This shows the same seductive teaching at work.

Revelation 2:14

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
