What did Peter see in the sheet in his vision?

In the vision, Peter saw a sheet containing a lot of unclean animals, according to the Jewish diet. The Lord commanded him, 'Rise, Peter, kill and eat.' This occurred about ten years after Pentecost, while Peter was still a law-keeping Jew with trepidation about going to the house of Cornelius.

Les teaches that in Acts chapter 10, Peter is still a good law-keeping Jew about ten years after Pentecost. The Lord shows him a vision and says, 'Rise, Peter, kill and eat.' But the sheet contained a lot of unclean animals according to the Jewish diet. Peter's trepidation about going to Cornelius is evident, so he takes some fellow Jewish believers with him from Joppa to Caesarea. Les emphasizes that if you think Peter had been set free from the law, you haven't read your Bible.

Acts 10:14

But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
