Who is the communicator in the Trinity?

The communicator in the Trinity is the Word, who is God the Son. He appears as Jesus in the New Testament and as Jehovah, the capitalized LORD, in the Old Testament. This one Person comes on the scene to communicate with Adam and reveals God more and more.

Les explains that the communicator had to come on the scene to deal with Adam, and that this is one person out of the Trinity—the Word. He identifies that person as Jesus in the New Testament and God the Son in the Old Testament, also called Jehovah and Lord (L-O-R-D, capitalized). Les then connects Jehovah to the Hebrew terms Yahweh and Havah: Yahweh is the I Am of Exodus chapter 3, and Havah means to become more and more revealed. Contracted together, they yield the name Jehovah. So Jehovah is the I Am who would become more and more revealed. Les notes that through the Old Testament God the Son reveals more and more of Himself, finally coming in the form of flesh, then going the way of the cross and ascending back into heaven.
