How did one person of the invisible Trinity become visible?

Out of the invisible Trinity, one person of the Godhead stepped forth, took on flesh, and became visible. That person is God the Son, the Lord Jesus, who is the image and visible appearance of the invisible God, the firstborn before all creation.

Les explains that God is invisible; the Trinity, the Elohim of the Old Testament, was the invisible Godhead, spirit.
