What did God say to Moses in Exodus 3:10 about Pharaoh and Israel?
God spoke from the burning bush, saying, “Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.” He declared it was time to deliver Israel from bondage and told Moses he would be the man.
In this Exodus chapter 3 lesson, Les explains that God had now told Moses out of the burning bush that it was time to deliver the children of Israel out of bondage, and that Moses was going to be the man. Les reads verse 10, where God says, “Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” Moses then responded to God, “Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?” Les stresses that this teaching stays strictly according to the biblical language.
Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
