Les Feldick Bible Study

What future did Moses believe Israel would have according to God's promises?

By faith, Moses believed the enslaved Israelites were his kinfolk and that, according to all the promises, they would one day leave Egypt and go back up to Canaan. He expected their bondage and slavery to end through eventual deliverance and their return to Canaan.

Les explains that Moses made his presentation to the children of Israel and had hoped to be able to deliver them. Moses had everything going for him as the second most powerful man in Egypt, but by faith he realized that the people in bondage and slavery were his kinfolk. According to all the promises, they would one day leave Egypt and go back up to Canaan. Les also notes that all these things were in God's mind before they ever happened.
