What did God promise Israel in the covenant with Moses?

The covenant God made with Moses, called the Law, promised the nation of Israel that even though they would be uprooted out of the land, they would be brought back, and it would be their homeland. This promise of restoration to the land was part of that Mosaic covenant.

Les explains that God makes a covenant with Moses, which is called the Law, and He makes it with Moses and the nation of Israel. In that covenant, even though Israel is uprooted out of the land, they are going to be brought back, and the land is going to be their homeland. Les also notes there will be other covenants, including the promise to David of a royal family leading up to the King and the government, but the Mosaic covenant specifically included Israel's restoration to the land.
